We place high priority on the safety of your goods ensuring your items are protected and loaded to best suit each individual items requirements. Once we arrive at the destination, we use the same standards to unload and unpack your belongings.

Are you a licensed and insured moving company?

Yes! Skyy is licensed in the state of California and is insured to $1,000,000.

How long have you been in business?

We’ve been in business since 1997.

Can you provide references or customer testimonials?

We have many personal reviews you can read HERE. If you wish to speak to our customers live, we will arrange this for you.

What types of moving services do you offer (e.g., residential, commercial, specialty items)?

We move household goods from point A to point B, complete offices, real estate staging companies and pianos. Don’t see what you want us to move here? Call us and offer us a challenge! Chances are, we’ve been there and done that.

Do you offer packing services or supplies if needed?

Yes! We offer, plastic wrap, bubble wrap, moving pads/blankets, packing tape, boxes, etc.

Will you conduct an in-person assessment of my belongings before providing a quote?

We will conduct an in-person assessment when we believe the situation calls for it or when requested. Usually, a few photos and a phone conversation is sufficient.

How do you determine the cost of the move? Is it based on weight, distance, or hourly rate?

Our moving rates are based upon man hours and distance. Each move is unique. We will work with you to provide the most cost effective move for your requirements.

Are there any additional fees or charges I should be aware of (e.g., stairs, long carry, fuel surcharge)?

This is a difficult question to answer, but the basic answer is no. Our prices are based on man hours. However, there may be surcharges for stairs and mileage – depending on how many stairs and miles are involved.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy

There are no fees or penalties for canceling or rescheduling moves with Skyy. We simply ask when rescheduling, to be flexible and work within our availability.

Do you use your own employees or subcontractors?

Skyy Moving uses only our own employees. We are fully insured, and our employees are covered by workers’ compensation insurance as well.

What safety measures do you have in place to protect my belongings during the move?

We have great pride in our “damage record” – we take every precaution possible to protect your items with plastic and bubble wrap, moving pads/blankets and properly sealed boxes.

Will you provide a written contract or agreement that outlines the terms and conditions of the move?

Absolutely.

What is the estimated timeline for the move?

Do you have any restrictions on the items you can move.

There are items we cannot move – most of these are extremely sensitive and highly calibrated items, slate based billiard/pool tables. If you have an item that you may question, please let us know before the estimating process.

How do you handle any damage or losses that may occur during the move?

Skyy Moving is fully insured for damage and loss. However, we will work with to resolve any issues that may arise.

Do you have any special requirements or recommendations for fragile or valuable items?

Absolutely! Carefully wrap any fragile item in bubble wrap, newspaper, corrugated cardboard, place in boxes and seal securely.

How do you handle unforeseen circumstances such as delays or changes in the move schedule?

We do our best at preparing for your move – check calendars for any specific events causing delays in traffic, consider the time of day for commute traffic, weather delays, etc., but we can’t be prepared for all circumstances. If a delay is incurred, we will notify you and provide you with an updated schedule as soon as possible.

What measures do you take to ensure the safety of your employees and customers during the move, especially considering COVID-19?

Upon request, we will use masks and gloves

Do you offer any additional services such as storage options?

No storage options are offered at this time.

What is your process for resolving any disputes or customer complaints?

We take every precaution to resolve disputes/complaints with our customers seeking common ground and sensibility.
